Welcome to Lake Owassa! Lake Owassa is a 275 acre private lake for the use of
members exclusively. The Lake is a beautiful locale offering members serenity and
ambience all year long. Members dedicate time and effort to monitor the water quality,
supervise fishing activity and organize events. Annual activities at the Lake include sailboat races, a lake-wide picnic every summer and a boat parade. Lake Owassa offers something for everyone in a truly beautiful and peaceful setting.

 

Alerts & Recreational Status

NJ Regulation 13:82-1.4 A USCG approved life jacket is required to be worn at all times during the cold water months, November 1st to May 1st, for people of all ages on all boats, while in motion.

Lake Owassa is 1.5 miles long and approximately 600 meters wide, with 150 homes on the lake. The lake is broken into sections A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and J. These sections are used for memberships and applications.
